I know how to take care of my toys, OP. If something did happen, I'd be able to repair just about anything that happened to the figure short of them being melted or pulverized.
So no, I wouldn't want to kill someone for doing what's in your image. Beyond some fucked up chrome, I'd expect most of those figures to be salvageable, though probably not sales-worthy.
