I haven't collected toys since I was a kid with Star Wars toys.
New Star Wars is giving me the itch.
Where should I even begin? What brands are worthwhile? I know nothing about collecting.

Black series is okay, but better for armored and masked troopers. these'll be around 20$
SHF is better in every way, sans some small differences but have less of a selection and are mostly sold out.
these are 40-80, more if they're sold out with no re-issue
There's also sideshow and hottoys figures, which are incredible but the bodies on sideshow are pretty bad and they cost about 200-400 depending on the scale .
I dunno man. With all the hype, companies are trying to put out as much shitty stuff they can produce while the scalpers are trying to buy out all the shitty stuff they can buy. So currently, consumers have to buy all the shitty stuff at shitty prices.
So unless you have uncontrollable impulses, maybe it's best to wait a while for the craze to die down.
