Two things bother me about it: I don't like the shape of the feet, and they always look neckless/like they're shrugging. Note how the Revo and Black Series have distinct necks, but the kit appears to be doing his best turtle impression.
Honestly, I think Hasbro nailed the Stormtrooper proportions best out of all the companies. It's not necessarily the most high-quality sculpt, but I think it looks effortlessly great proportionally. I can look at it and say, yep, that's a Stormtrooper, without really having nitpicks or issues with it like I do with the others.

Paint wise, most of these figures fucking blow. Rarely have I seen one of the generic FO troopers, Regular Storm Troopers, or Clone troopers that didn't have random out-of-place black splotches all over the white armor parts.
I have an FO trooper with good paint, after passing probably 4 of them that looked like shit. The elbow articulation is really the worst part of the figure to me.
Of course, I just got three of the Figuarts Clone troopers and it is just amazing to see how much another company can blow it out of the water.

Damn, I ordered two of the Riot Control and plan on getting two of the Heavy Gunner. I even got two of the Shadow Troopers! The only one I didn't get two of was the Scout Trooper since having two Speeder Bikes seems redundant for display purposes. If they release a Scout Trooper without the bike that would be great. I've seen people with the Sideshow Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike set get an extra Scout Trooper to use just as a sniper. It might just be the paint and the appearance of the plastic. The model kit has a really glossy plastic, which can affect how much detail you can see from a photo, since the gloss in even soft light can wash out the detail.
Plus, you know, the lack of paint.

I got Ashoka, The Inquisitor, Rylo Ken and Captain Phasma. The Captain Phasma is actually one of my favorite figures. The only thing I won't be buying is the Stormtroopers, they suck. IMO I think the mafex looks the most accurate, as it has the best human proportions. The figuarts looks slightly stylized.
Though I have no clue about articulation as I don't own or have ever owned a mafex product.

To the Republic Commando guys
There is a guy on ebay that takes the RC figures, which are somewhat lacking in articulation, and hollows out the armor and puts them on a microman body. They are pretty neat. Has both Delta and Omega with some repaints thrown in. They are pricey though. $300 for a full team. 80 for a basic one(No extra hands, one weapon, one backpack), and 90 for a deluxe one(Unmasked head, multiple alternate hands, possibly more than one weapon?, one back pack.) Also offers free paint additions after purchase, like if you want a logo on the helmet or an emblem or what not. Dude's name is stitchfett. Also has both Fetts and ARC troopers.

Mafex is definitely best in looking like a human in armor, and is probably second best in articulation next to Revoltech. The quality can vary, many have said the torso pops apart too easily, and the joints can get loose.
