It's a 22x22 Rubik's Cube. It would have been a new world record for being the largest ever made. Sadly it exploded on the first turn.
I'm sure careful planning went into this, but they should have accounted for the amount of stress it takes to rotate it.

Good attempt, love the dedication to the hobby. Are they going to try again? Is that 3d printed? If so that's your problem, too much friction. Maybe resin casting would work better. Clean up a 3d printed part as much as possible, then make a mold and copy it a few times, then use the duplicates to make a makeshift sprue of parts. Might be faster than 3d printing come to think of it.
