Anyone ever try their hand at stop motion
Once or twice, it amazes me how things like ParaNorman exist.

Pretty much this. I swear, it would take less time and effort to go to art school and learn how to draw than to make a stop motion movie by myself.
>Ray Harryhausen worked almost completely alone on his stop motion sequences.
I can't even

He truly was the best at what he did.

He worked alone so that no one would discover that he actually brought his creations to life and had them act out their scenes while he filmed them.
Yup. It sucks.

I seem to recall this image being important because before it noone knew that at full gallop there were points where horses had no hoofs on the ground.
I saw this in an add in the paper the other day;

This. Animation is hard but stop motion animation is even harder.

Do 3D animation. It's easyer and looks harder, It's like cheating.

I did a few things with Lego Star Wars a long time ago. They weren't that great but it I enjoyed it. I honestly don't know why I stopped. I always think about doing stop motion with some of my action figures but I never do.
I made this for that thread we had a month or 2 ago. Would like to attempt something more complex.
Was considering seeing if a bunch of /toy/ soldiers would be interested in recreating a music video but I've been too lazy to make the thread/guidelines.
