I have returned gentlemen. sorry for my absence all, including the faithful ones like buzzclaw. still kinda grown out of actually setting up displays for the time being but i'm still collecting and will try to post some of the new ones soon. for now, some older ones. will try to do requests too
also am starting this again because it is the harvest moon. happy harvest moon everyone. hope ya'll are able to see it in its glory. a little cloudy here so i'm not able to see

>Live right next to a steel mill
I'm lucky if I can see the damn big dipper.
>>5188571
i'm sorry man. here's for us who can't see it
been almost a year since last thread and no one cares?
Nifty. I think I still have a Farmall Cub in a box somewhere.
>>5190701
Post more man this board is just slower than usual lately
What is your favorite era of farm equipment to model? Do you prefer the look of older tractors etc. from the 1980s and earlier to the modern machines of today?
Who makes the highest quality models?
>Farmer's back.
Your threads are always a little ray of sunshine on this dingy board.
>>5190701
I care, I was just wondering where you were a few days ago.
Found it. Turns out it's almost the perfect size for 3.75" figures.
>>5192461
got that same one bro
>>5190928
yep i'm back buzz. here's a new one i got
>>5190919
favorites r probably 60's to 80's, about the time when diesel started to become the main fuel source but i like the very old steam ones as well. as for models, spec cast will be very detailed but also expensive. Ertl is who makes the vast majority of models and they r quite good at them too
>>5193104
What scale do you have the most of? 1:64? Do you have a Case 1270/1370/1570?
Please post your 70s tractors.
>>5193096
Oh, nice.
>>5193225
all the john deere yellow cabs. also i don't have any of the old cases yet. a couple r in the mail coming
>>5193225
>>5195712
i appreciate the heads up. thank u
>>5190701
I care. I've still got a huge box of farming toys at my grandads house, I was obsessed with tractors while growing up. That obsession later turned into one of tanks and mecha, but tractors still hold a fond spot in my heart and your threads give me a nice warm feeling in my heart. Keep on harvesting, Farmer 4chan
sorry for no activity yesterday. was at an antique tractor show. as for the guy who requested the 70's tractors. i'll try to get more of those up
This thread is so nice and cheerful. Godspeed Farmer.
sry for the few updates. i've been busy with work. got a new job in may. finally doing what i love. pic related
>>5206734
Do you have a model of that?
>>5207093

>>5211070

>>5215030

Oh hey farmer dude! Long time no see! Ever thought if buying astroturf to pretend there's grass for them?
>>5222014

>>5224225
Please seek professional help. You have a mental health disorder.
>>5224251
i'm terribly sorry i don't have ecchi body pillows and dolls everywhere like the rest of the people in this board. if that makes me retarded, then i'm not sure i wanna live on this planet anymore
>>5224251
>fun is a mental disorder
Literally /v/: the poster
>>5224251
nah son, the only one with a mental disorder is you.
new tractor came in at work today. gonna be getting the toy model of it soon as well
going to oktoberfest guys. don't think i'll get anything posted today but my new ones came in and will try to get them up tomorrow before i have to haul 800 square bales
do you guys...build farm dioramas?
>>5229295
the professionals do
so super tired from oktoberfest plus hauling hay, even though it only turned out to be 434 bales. i'll get my new tractors up tomorrow
*lowers my head in shame* i lied to ya'll. worked pretty late today so by the time i got home i got nothing accomplished so no new tractors tonight. i'll seriously try to get them up tomorrow
>>5230995
Pretty fancy stuff.
Have any Porsches?
One of the die-cast forums I frequent had a "heaviest car" thread a couple of months ago. This didn't really count being a large trailer, but I weighed it anyway because it's so much heavier than pretty much any 3" die-cast. It's the most agriculture-related piece I have a picture of.
>>5235751
no i don't. call me an american pig but i don't do any of the european tractors. just never found the appeal in them
>>5237507
Why you American pig, how dare you not like something I like?
>>5237900
pretty much
Bumping. Will post pics tomorrow
As a toddler in the end of the 1970's I had the Fisher Price Little People Farm. Man, that thing was AWESOME. Coolest feature was a mechanical "moo" sound played when you open the stable's doors.
>>5241796
i think i have that somewhere. anyway as finally promised, my newest tractors. so glad to have these now
>>5242654
'Murica. Bicentennial models?
>>5244024
yes. those r the spirit of '76 models. the real life models, only 50 of the steigers were made and 200 of the cases were made
Forgive me guys. Gonna be a very busy week. Halo 5 just came out and also have a festival to work at this weekend. Also it's Halloween. So if this thread dies, it dies. I'll make another one on thanksgiving anyway. But happy hunter's moon everyone
hmm maybe it is time to let it 404
>>5251088
Well, the threads really depend on your posts to stay afloat.
>>5253250
i post depending on feedback, after a while when it's just me posting over and over, i figure the hype is gone and i'll let it fade till next time
>>5188554
Who's been preparing their toys for a good cozy autumny display?
