Where do I get accessories like this on their own - namely instruments? I have the Daft Punk figuarts and have been meaning to try and find some guitars for them.

Those guitars are from the Guitar Hero Solo line of little mix and match guitars. A lot of us on here bought them way back.
As for other instruments, I know a lot of anons bought really cheap k-on figmas but I don't know how expensive those are now.

The boombox is from a Mezco figure called Gomez. It was an SDCC exclusive. I got mine for $20 a couple years ago, but I don't know how much they are now.
Figured I'd pull out my tiniest accessories. Given that I just spent the last hour hunting out one of them(Low-Light's bullet), I'm taking the photo with them in their various holder accessories.

Just picked up this MiWorld vending machine set at TRU. There's a button on the back that makes a soda fall down into the drawer, kinda neat. They also make packs of extra stuff for their play sets, like Ms. Fields Cookies and cups.
I'll probably pick up their Dairy Queen playset soon.

Anyone? I haven't really found anything. Like maybe any cheap figures that come with a repurpose-able cape? There's that one Vintage General Grievous but he's expensive. Maybe some etsy type shop that sell figure capes? I might just have to try making my own.
