I'm setting out into playing D&D for the first time. I'm getting a group together to play, but it might possibly be more convenient for all of us to play via webcam/Skype. I've been watching groups play online (i.e. Acq Inc, Dice, Camera, Action, etc.), and I was wondering if any of you knew what program/software they use to apply the overlays, arrange the webcam feeds, and everything. Pic shown is an example of what I'm talking about...
Roll20.

I am actually pleasantly surprised by how helpful /tg/ is. Guess I've been exposed to /v/ and /vr/ for far too long.

Do a test before, make sure your audiance aren't horrifically ugly and that all equipment is working smoothly.

We're actually all friends IRL. Online play is more convenient since most of us have families, kids, etc.

Play a good system instead. It's not 1989 anymore.
