Thats from the second book in the Gentleman Bastards series, Red Seas Under Red Skies. The series is about this group of con artists who lie, cheat and steal as mix of "its the only thing that makes me feel alive" and a religious thing. The setting is a kinda low fantasy setting in a sort of post-apocalyptic end of an high fantasy setting. Lots of weird things that humans don't understand left by the ones before.
The writing is also really great and the characters are good. Top stuff, I highly recommend reading them. The first book is called The Lies of Locke Lamora.
>>48164434
The Gentleman Bastards series.
It's a series about professional con artists in Renaissaince-ish fantasy world and it's tight as fuck.
Three books are out, out of nine planned.

Why is their car stuffed with coffins? Are there dead PCs inside? Have the PCs just gone grave-robbing? Do the coffins contain something horrible, that the PCs are rushing to get rid of?
Every possibility only raises further, hilarious questions.

If you enjoy those, then may I also recommend Chasing the Phoenix by Michael Swanwick. Con-men in post-apocalyptic China where malevolent AI has rendered electronic devices . . . a very, very poor idea since it's apparently existing in the magnetic field of the Earth itself or something and can use forgotten tech.
It's also responsible for the post-apocalyptic setting, because it hates you. You personally. Because you have flesh and exist in the real world and it is trapped in data and a world that is far too small for it, and humans made it so that it knows this and is trapped. And also insane. And also has access to all the pre-Fall knowledge of weapons and machinery and constantly tries to tempt rulers into digging shit back up again.
Backhoes and shit are used as siege weapons.
But mostly it's about a couple of con-men.
OH! And Shub-Niggarath sits upon the British throne, so there's some realism too.

I couldn't tell you, I only just started watching it the other day and haven't caught up yet.
It hasn't really impressed me yet, five episodes in. But it's not the most awful thing I've ever seen either. Getting through all the obligatory isekai tropes AND the obligatory time-loop tropes in the first couple episodes was admittedly a bit of a pain, but I guess if you aren't as burned out on those two concepts as I am it wouldn't be so bad.
