Me. The world doesn't understand that if i'm to fend off the coming plague i need unlimited access to test subjects. I don't have anything against gnomes they just happened to be the closest major population center near my magical tower and if i pick them at random that seems more far and reliable for testing purposes than say them handing over their seniors.
Now no one will get a plague cure cause they won't let me work in peace.
