One of the mysteries of life is why GW attracts so many whiny poorfags. Other things are just as overpriced or even moreso than GW. Yet nobody complains about them. Yet GW products generate so many complaints. Is it because you secretly want them but can't afford them? If it isn't, and you don't want them, why even bother complaining about the price?

they sold 5 man blisters for the guard, and every time i bought a vehicle id pickup at least one or two.
A vast majority of my Standing army is comprised of those blister packs. i only really bought some Com squads and specialist gear to convert them into what i needed them to be.
every time a guard player around me on a Thursday night complained about not having enough men. id just do pic related.

The Emperor made a ton of fuckups, and several primarchs falling to Chaos can be at least partially attributed to the Emperor to a significant extent. Magnus going traitor was a direct result of Nikaea and Russ trying to kill him. Lorgar only sought out alternate gods after the Emperor destroyed a planet important to the Word Bearers and embarrassed Lorgar in front of one of his brothers. Angron was a mentally damaged psychopath and never should have been given a legion in the first place. Likewise, Curze was psychologically damaged and what he did with his legion should have raised some major red flags. To a lesser extent, Perturabo was also clearly having issues.
The only primarchs whose fall doesn't directly relate back to the Emperor being a asshole/retard are Alpharius (lolcabal), Mortarion (forcibly converted at plague-point), Fulgrim (cunt), and Horus (Word Bearer plot).

People complain about it because its so obviously not worth the insane prices. It probably costs them 30 cents of plastic and a cardboard box for an 80 dollar model. I hope they bring back that Armoured Fist thing they used to sell (1x Chimera, 1x Guard Infantry squad) - that plus two blister packs and a second Chimera saves something like $20~$30 over buying 2x Chimera and 2x Infantry Squads, and gets you two squads plus rides plus any goodies you don't need to pull from the Bitz Box/Ebay/the Command Squad sprue.

Also those 5-man blisters are fucking wonderful for testing out color schemes - I haven't touched my main army in months cos I've been having too much fun prototyping camo schemes on snapfits and I'm a lazy, indecisive piece of shit, but I'd have gotten further on my main army if I hadn't spent so much time on aforementioned prototyping.
