I haven't played DnD before, know barely anything about it, other than I really want to.
But, I got problems.
None of my friends would probably wanna do it, anyway, and I'd have no idea where to begin.
What do you think? What should i do? what can i do?

could you narrow it down? theres uh, a lot of stuff.
Sorry if Im a complete tosser.
Choose an edition. Edition is important, different editions are almost different games. Basic D&D, AD&D2e, or 5e (most popular now) should be relatively easy to learn.

I doubt it.
Read a rulebook first, then try to sell your friends on it, and only then try to find an online game.

Alright. I'll keep that in mind, thank you.

Find a 5e game to join on roll20.
Note: Do NOT use roll20 game finder. Find a group outside of roll20.
Wait what do you mean probably? You didn't ask them? You should. Propose it like a 1 time thing and move from there.

Ask your friends, you'd be surprised how many people are interested in playing an RPG, even if it is only a one time thing.
