On a new computer and need to replenish my list of boons. Both magical and mundane need to be on here - I need something to give my party when they do things well, or examples of items that their foes are using, etc.
Since I literally have zero, I'm just going to post character art with cool armor and stuff to bump the thread. But I'm looking (mostly) for things with no people in the pictures, in a fantasy genre, though anything goes. Thanks!

Regular kombucha mother fungus are already pretty weird. The goblin ones are massive generational creatures, that have become semi sentient and magically imbued with empathic influence over the goblins. It encourages them to spread, but also to be oddly clean for goblins to keep away competing bacteria.

I'd have it as an artifact, probably sitting at the bottom of an ocean someplace in a mountain range. You could include a time/use limit on it, once every 100 years or something like that.

Devotional Coin. Large divinely magical tablet that various sects use as currency and exchange. Different coins have different passages and scripture on them. The prayers on it can be invoked to cause godly intervention but the coin loses value with each invocation. They're also huge.

Love it thanks guys! I'm really hoping to find some good artwork of something that could be construed as, like, a "+1 magic weapon" or something. As in, it's clearly not just an iron sword, but it's not some giant awesome custom weapon. Something like what this dude has.

I hope this posts right because my tablet is fighting me. And I hope someone can get some use out of this.
I'm planning to use it in an upcoming campaign. Only replacing the big damage with some kind of duration boost on infusions for the party's artificer.

It's a cool concept though. I like it. Unfortunately my campaign takes place in a completely homebrewed setting and system so it's hard to adapt things with names, even things like "Tasha's Hideous Laughter."
I'd like to incorporate something like that in my campaign fosho.

i dont know why, but these sets made me think of a strange idea for a game.
basically, a bunch of people lost in a cave, and they need to find their way out, and when they overcome certain goals, they get shown one of the sets and they get to pick an item from it. the idea is taht ill balance out the items somehow so that any from one set are all equally useful. for example, theres a set with the orcish scimitar and a stone knife both in the same set, so make some area magnetic, and if you end up there you lose all your metal gear. scimitar is better for fighting, but you get to keep the knife.
and rather than makign a map or something, i would base the world off patterns. each area has 3 exits, left, right and centre. so for example, choosing the left path 3 times in a row will always lead to the same place.
it would just be a little game, but it might turn out interesting.
