it gets way too much praise from people that would never play it because lolrandumb tables.

Want to try it.
End up not trying it.

You like it or you hate it. I like it.

this.
It's a love it or hate it system.
I ran a full campaign in it, it was amazing.
That same world is what I run all my dnd games in now.
Does someone have the pdf of DCC?

Definitely at the top of the list of games I want to play, but never will. Love the level 0 meat grinder, love the critical effect tables... never could get my group to ever play any one-shots of anything.
Is it within the hipsterdom of RPGs?
It's fun. Though we keep just making level 0s and running them through the main gauntlet
I've only played a few sessions. It was fun. But very gonzo which isn't always my style so I probably would never try to do a whole campaign I think.

I've only DMed 3 different short campaigns.
Everyone enjoyed them. Getting through the funnel feels incredibly rewarding.
Also the basis for their cover is hilarious.

What's the basis for their cover?
>>47618781
Not that anon, but there isn't one right now.

WotC's awful licensing with 4e DnD nearly bankrupted them, causing them to make a retroclone. So it has burning copies of 4e while adventurers look on in approval.
It's a different cover than OP's edition.

Pretty fun the last few times I played it. We don't do the level0 funnel every time.
