Looking for /tg/ related project ideas I can do with one of these since I have one now.

Anything from mechatronic board games like Pinball/pachinko/etc to robotics like a table that deals cards and shuffles.

One that rolls dice.

Is it possible to get a fair result from the jitter of a ring oscillator?

I have no idea.

If you gm, build an actual physical version of a puzzle that your players encounter in game.

You could build a grid for pen-and-paper games combining LEDs and some sort of sensor for game pieces. It could use light and dark cells to illustrate a map, highlight valid places a character can move, and whatnot.

Stepper motors in the base of X-Wing models to ensure precise movement?

A card *sorter*? I have zero idea how robotic vision works or whether the coding to separate cards based on what's printed on them can fit inside an ATMega chip.

RFID cards could be pretty nifty

A cart shuffler for sleeved decks!
It just needs to safely riffle shuffle 4 to 12 times.

You can make a dice shuffler with arduino, paper box and servo motor. That's the first thing that comes to mind.

No that code is too complicated for an atmega. If you could get it to fit in memory it would run horrifyingly slowly. It wouldn't be overly hard to do though so you could use another computer to do it.
