Yesterday somebody posted a thread trying to track down Princess Pillow Fighter, and multiple people remembered it. I had abandoned it a while back after vanishing from the internet, but the thread made me wonder if I should pick it back up again. Anyway, judge for yourself. Pdf related.

Quick version:
>PCs are princesses
>setting is a series of mario type lands so that players can say "I wanna live in the ice level" and that's ok and doesn't contradict anything
>there's a hub full of portals between all of the lands that only princesses can access, making even low level princesses kinda important
>pillow fights are a cultural halfway point between a sport and a "lets settle this with children's card games" event
>the GM is hard fucking no exceptions fuck you required to not allow any character to suffer serious injury or death
>conflict resolution mechanic is bidding; when faced with an obstacle the player sacrifices a certain amount of stress or popularity and if the amount is over the difficulty, the action succeeds
>there's a bit of character level increase mechanics as players can turn temporary resources into what amounts to a utility magic item from D&D, fluffed as either a new room or feature of their estate, an item, or a named underling
>masterwork desserts are a consumable buff

Oh, should mention that the artist is jay156.deviantart.com. I looked through the pdf and realized I hadn't given him credit.

In fact I should dump the art that was intended for the eventual update.

Oh, and the title page uncropped.

Nice looking. Why 1d4 though?
>>
good heavens, you really can role play anything even things you really shouldn't

Rare, smaller range = lower effect = greater importance on the bidding mechanic. Having let it sit for a while, it is kinda weird, though. D3 for convenience? D6 because fuck you?

If I remember right this is pretty much a /tg/ screencap generator disguised as fetishshit, so the comparison is decent.

I was there for that thread. I am old.

We are old. PPF needs a setting. Sandbox games are not for all PCs.

How would you suggest getting more detailed while still letting players have whatever home bases they want?
>>
Why is there no article for this on 1d4chan?
