There's a whole slew of big and small weapons that pack less of a punch than some pistols. You can have a dude with a minigun that can't even hurt the lightest of vehicles, while something like an inferno pistol can blow up land raiders.

It's because you need basic troops for a wargame. Even if they're a super elite mega-SEAL army, you need grunts to stand up front to fill that troop tax.
The awkward part is that the fluff fluffs them up as veterans, but then has seperate super-veterans with access to better equipment and stats.

Killing Tervigons kills some little guys around it.
Heirodule is a T8, 3+ LoW creature with a Hellstorm.

Yeah it doesn't work anyway. Sanguine Sword takes up a slot. So he can only roll twice. One of them is Quickening, meaning one left. Rolling on Biomancy isn't bad for Meph. Endurance and Warp Speed are pretty good.
You can get T10 though if you roll for Iron Arm and Endurance. But you won't get A10 I10.

How do I determine points for the Imperial Guard? An infantry squad in the Codex, for example, lists 1 sergeant and 9 Guardsmen, and says that two guardsmen may form a Heavy Weapons Team.
The Start Collecting box comes with 9 Guardsmen, a Sergeant, and 1 Heavy Weapons team, which is why I'm confused about it.

The heavy weapon in the start collecting box is an optional thing, it would replace two of the lasgun wielding dudes if you wanted to give your infantry squad a heavy weapon.

Invisibility has been cancer for as long as it has existed in its current form. The design is so horrifically bad and clearly broken, that it honestly should just be straight up gutted in a quick FAQ from GW.

Had a fun idea for inquisition armies. What if they got formations with every faction based on which Inquisitor you took? Even with non imp armies: tau or eldar could have an Alien Mercenary formation that would bump Tau up to allies of conv., only with an Ordo xenos warlord. Ordo malleus could get something special with daemons/CSM/GKs, Hereticus with SoB, Renegades and Heretics, Guard, dangles/wolfies, etc. "pure" imp formations could get preferred enemy.
