Okay, these are the secrets to writing a man a woman will gush over.
1: He must be dangerous to everyone, including her, but she must be able to tame him some how (i.e. she is his soul mate, he can't live without her, she reminds him of his deceased and lost wofe, etc.)
2: He has to be weak for her alone - in other words, in spite of everything the character has been developed as, he must be able to do an entire about face with her as the specific reason for that about face (i.e. lettign the badguy beat on him because her life is in danger rather than defeating him even though he should be able to wipe the floor with the badguy otherwise).
3: Absolute, unswerving loyalty to That One Woman, unless she is deceased, at which point he should slowly turn his attention to the heroine whom reminds him of her in some special way.
Everything else is merely icing on the cake.
