So I'm making a House for the Song of Ice and Fire system and I need a way to keep myself honest, so I was wondering if you fellas would help me out.
I'll need 3d6 to find out where we start.

A house from the great white North
Gonna need 7 sets of 7d6 for our stats
Rolled 6, 3, 2, 2, 3, 4, 1 = 21 (7d6)

Setting
Rolled 4, 2, 5, 2, 2, 4, 2 = 21 (7d6)

Lands
Rolled 3, 4, 2, 5, 6, 2, 2 = 24 (7d6)

so anyone here?
Rolled 5, 5, 2, 6, 5, 3, 5 = 31 (7d6)

Pretty standard for a northern house lots of land and little law
Now just 2d6 for how old our house is
Rolled 6, 2 = 8 (2d6)
>>46761305
Aging
Rolled 1, 6 = 7 (2d6)
>>46761305
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>46761305
wait isn't it 1d6 for how old the house is?
>>46761322
Our house is incredibly new only just created during Robert's Rebellion
We have one event roll 3d6
Rolled 3, 6, 4 = 13 (3d6)
>>46761372
>>46761349
I just combined age and events both are a d6, age only determines the modifier the second die gets
Rolled 5, 4 = 9 (2d6)
>>46761305
>>46761391
Ah fair enough.
>>46761387
Our house was raised to nobility by King Bobby B himself as we garnered his Favor during the war.
4d6 please
Rolled 3, 2, 1, 4 = 10 (4d6)
>>46761430
Praising
Rolled 4, 5, 5, 2 = 16 (4d6)

Maybe if anatolia had a boner or something
>>46761430
Considering this house is in the north it was probably Eddard who gave us our lands. Although it might have been Big Bad Bobby. Maybe we were one of the northmen who helped Robert during the rebellion, maybe saved his life. Or killed some Targ supporter. Or helped him some other way.

Creation: Robert’s Rebellion
Favor
These are our final stats.
How did we distinguish ourselves in the rebellion, were we just drinking buddies with Bobby or did we actually do something.
With defence we could get ourselves a hall or two towers which might be good considering how much land we have.
>>46760655
Do you have anything worked out already or will you let /tg/ fluff them?
>>46761511
I was thinking maybe we got rewarded for pure nepotism as we were simply a good drinking buddy with Robert, though we could go the actually being useful route.
>>46761529
Saved his ass during the battle of the Bells
>>46761557
Working on familiarizing myself with the system among other stuff so feel free to fluff at will
>>46761581
What will you do with this house anyway? Run a quest?
>>46761581
Might be wise to take on a trip
>>46761604
>>46761627
I can't say the thought of a quest would not tempt me but we will have to see what this house turns into.
So this house came into prominence during RR right?
How about a karstark bastard that acted as messenger when ned and robert were laying low?
because it was a thankless job and he could have betrayed them any day, when he didn't robert ennobled him?
>>46761511
>>46761571
So who raised us Bobby or Eddard, or maybe we were well liked by both of them.
So we need a decision on defence, a hall or two towers.
>>46761529
Since we where raised after the Rebellion by Ned.
>We saved his buddy from Connington.
>We did good at the Trident.
>We did good at Storm's End.
>We dragged the corpses of the fuckers who died at the Tower of Joy.
And A few more
>>46761695
>>46761744
So far, we are a Karstark bastard raised to lordship after Robert's Rebellion by Ed and Bobby, while are name was not known well we basically tagged along all of the important events of the war acting as a loyal comrade and messenger.
Any thoughts on house name and motto, maybe something messenger related.
>>46761744
>>We dragged the corpses of the fuckers who died at the Tower of Joy.
That's not possible. Everyone who died there except Lyanna was buried in Dorne by Ned immediately after the fight.
>>46761803
House Talar
Since we're going with the Karstark bastard, how about "The messenger of Winter" or "The wind of Winter" if we want to be cheeky cunts?
so OP disappeared?
>>46762492
Thus continue the curse of the House creation.
Don't mind me, I'll just post some got shitpostery in the meantime
>>46762547
do you have CIA throwing lysa out the moon door and saying she didn't fly so good?

So, where would you guys want to place the House?
>>46762758
the white knife.
>>46762778
That'd be Manderly county, you hungry for some pie?
You'd also be the only House that worship the Old Gods since all those around are House that pray to the Seven.
>>46762821
yeah, I mean Manderly is kinda cool if you stay on his good side. White harbor is rich as fuck and scraping a living with the river tolls would be a neat thing to do.
>>46762864
Kinda cool, could set up the intringue with being an upstart house dipping it's finger in the money pie that is White Arbor, would make a few enemies out of the Lords and Landed knights sucking Ol' Wyman's dick.
Ned and Bobby kinda are dicks putting us there.
>>46762976
ned probably had more things on his mind, and bobby was making bastards.
You guys wanna buy the land/troops/holdings while waiting for OP to come back or for another anon to take up the mantle?
>>46763041
>>46763041
wait for 5 minutes before this becomes /tg/ property.
>>46763026
So who would give us that favor?
I guess we could say whoever gave us a small hall or something?
Ned?
Wyman?
Our father the Karstark?
Roose for shit an' giggle?
>>46763041
Sorry bout that had to disappear for a food run, we can get on land and troops but first we need to figure out defence.
>>46763079
OP's been gone for an hour, maybe he had to rub one out before continuing or something.
>>46763092
wyman did. Ned dumped us onto him and wyman gave us a pretty out of the way place to manage.
Alright so the general idea so far is:
We are a Karstark bastard raised to lordship after Robert's Rebellion by Ed and Bobby, while are name was not known well we basically tagged along all of the important events of the war acting as a loyal comrade and messenger.
We have been given lands near white harbour and many lords resent us for it.
Things to be done:
-Defence
-Lands
-Troops
-Name and Motto
>>46763198
>Defence
a Hall, nothin' too fancy.
>Land
Small town 20
River 3
Light wood 3
Hills 7
Plains 5
38 and keep the leftover to either make an hamlet or upgrade the small town, or hell take a few more goodies
>>46763425
Troops
Vet Archer x2 16
Vet Infantry 9
Green Scout or Guerilla 3
Fishery 5
Food agriculture 5
Textile agriculture 5
Toll 5
Since we're on the White knife we could be a Lord that is more into creating goods and selling them than a fighter
>>46763504
can we have heavily trained assault infantry instead?
Something like the spanish sword-and-buckler men?
Since we're so close to White Arbor, Wyman could have granted us a sept; even though there's a heart tree albeit a small one growing near our Hall
>>46763618
You can give 'em anything, to a point, you want but it'll cost you.
>>46760655
So 3d6 means roll a 6 sided dice 3 times, ya?
Its dumb how there are so many different type of dice.
>>46763753
I just want the archers replaced with that. Since we are the river police, we want our boys ready for fighting on trade cogs and stuff.
>>46763589
>>46763678
Fishery 5
Food agriculture 5
Textile agriculture 5
Toll 5
So we have interest in building a good industry would we ant to trade out one for a sept or heart tree to sow either side of our faith or simply focus on mercantilism which both. A sept however is a hefty 15 wealth and the godswood only being 5.
Troops
Vet Archer x2 16
Vet Infantry 9
Green Scout 3
Unless there are any complaints this seems decent for troops.
>>46763774
That's cool, place your order and if it pleases OP and other anons it'll be taken.
>>46763807
Place the sept/godwood as the favor.
Make it work as a bribe to become a Karstark bannerman or a Manderly.
What kind of game you'd like OP anyway? lots of fighting? making lods of emone? becoming LF's retarded cousin? Shadowrunning: Westeros Boogaloo?
>>46763935
I honestly have had a hankering for a rather lower scale with a lower more personal scale but we seem be on the way to make the next Karban.
>>46763991
might as well ride it all the way.
>>46763991
Can't blame us to want another go.
Though Wyman is the most powerful lord after Ned moneywise in the North. and there isn't much prospects for making dosh up there.
>>46763991
What do you had in mind, you could add some of our stuff, tonned down, to your stuff.
>>46764045
I don't think I could get as low as I wanted with maybe lowering the starting to maybe 5d6. This house is turning out pretty interesting so I'll roll with it.
>>46764128
To be fair, as far as the North goes this place should be the most cutthroat place besides the Dreadfort.
This house we're building might seems strong, but it has a lot of other houses to contend with
So, keep going or what? we have roughly shaped the house and the troops, although that other anon who wanted another build didn't post what he wanted. Should we go on ahead and roll the Lord and see if we can get a good lord to go with this promising house?
OP died again?
radmure is a big marksman.
Rolled 3, 5, 6, 6, 1, 3, 6, 5, 4, 1 = 40 (10d6)
>>46764516
Dice-ing for shats-n-gaggles.
>>46766799
why the 10d6?
>>46766799
Fuck it, let's use the dices.
>3,5 You kept company of a famous individual
Sounds about right.
>6, 6 Good
Well I guess becoming the top merchant of the North count as good.
>1, 3 Duty
...oh for fuck sake's.
>6, 5 Pious
....
>4, 1 Cowardly
Heh, guess being the messenger meant we ran from the battles quite a lot.
>>46767359
So a Lord that wants his land and his people wanting for nothing and who took his job back then as a messenger seriously and is now doing the same as a Lord. He loves to pray either to the Old Gods or to the Sevenor both. He is a bit of a coward and took the messenger job to stay away from the battlefield.
Most likely we won't be seeing a lot of battles but we will have men that have the best we could provide for them.
Yeah, fucker gonna get run over if Bryden/William decide to intimidate him but he's a savy merchant Lord capable to turn a profit.
Sounds good so far?
>>46767436
>Duty like Harrock.
>Pious like Dontos.
What a rush this is shaping.
Ok, wanna roll for his age or just straight up take a young adult?
>>46766747
For you.
>>46767494
Right, how many dice do we need to throw?
google : asoiaf rapture for pdf
btw, is this thread alive?
>>46768059
>>46768059
no dice, now we need to flesh the Lord.
>>46768139
Well, I'm one anon so I don't think I count for much.
If we take a young lord, we'll end up with 180 exp to spare.

Convince
We're not much of a fighter, average at best, but we're quick on our feet and slippery, all those months of dodging patrols gave us a edge in noticing things and convicing guards that the droids they're looking for aren't these, or something.
Wanted to take the craven flaw but I'm not sure I can take it when I'm out of exp.
Bargain, Bluff, Sneak and Convice are things the "us" in the Rebellion was good at, but not enough exp
