You have to give us a side you dumbass.
>>
>>46658864
>give us a side
From the left.
>>
Sorry. White pieces
>>
>>46658864
Setting the white bishop in front of the white queen would make black's queen lose a lot of influence over the board but it's not a completely solid play. It's just about your best option as far as I can tell, but I've never won a game of chess in my life, so whatever.
>>
>>46658864
move the bishop on the black square onto the square right behind the other bishop. it puts black king in check.
>>
>>46658937
Move the white knight to threaten the black rook. Opens up a lane to use the white queen to check the black king.
>>
>>46659130
Um. What?
>>
>>46659193
with the grid labeled 1-8 from left to right across the top and A-H with A at the top (top left corner is A1 and bottom right corner is H8)

move white bishop from H3 to F1 since doing so puts black king in check.
>>

>>46659130

Far as I can tell, that's mate in 2 moves - Black King must move to the left to exit check; move the white knight next to the black white-square bishop for checkmate - king can't move back or down because bishop, can't move left because of the white queen.
>>
>>46659033
If Bd2, then Qxd5, and you lose.

OP give me s bit longer to analyze; you position isn't great and this requires some thought.
>>
>>46659439
disregard that I suck cocks, black queen can capture the knight
>>
>>46659439
>Black King must move to the left to exit check
Why not to the right?
>>
>>46659439
Black can play Kg8 instead of Ke8, so no forced mate.
>>
>>46659344
Ah. So black king retreats to A7, I guess. Then what?

Probably you best bet is Ba3+, followed by Ne3 when he ducks the king. This connects your rooks and gets something guarding g2, but you still want your rook away from his fianchetto'd bishop, and your light squared bishop guarding the holes in the pawn structure around your king, but I'm not sure how to get there.
>>
>>46659599
Literally why.
>>
>>46659531

knight to B5 is the obvious answer, but the black knight can capture it, or else the king can either move back to A6 (knight obscures the bishop) or diagonally to B8.

>>46659599
I have no idea what that gains us.
>>
>>46659599
Oh yeah, gotta threaten a guarded pawn. Bravo.
>>
>>46659690
Don't forget dropping your knight.
>>
>>46659599
Have one knight take a 2 pawns as squires, than invest all your research points into republican tech, they cant check a king if your faction isnt a monarchy

>castling a king that has moved
>castling through a threatened square
>ending a move in check
>>
>>46659943
No, not in check. The rook is the threatened piece. Also you can't just assume the rook and the king have already moved.
>>
>>46659982
>king and rook away from their starting positions
>not moved

>rook is threatened
>not the king, which shares a diagonal with the black queen

You're fucking with me. Good job, I was legitimately annoyed.
>>
>>46658864
Probably:
Ba3+, Ka7
Pb4

Pawn could be captured by the knight, if you don't mind the knight immediately being captured by the bishop and still leaving the queen under thread. The queen would need to move in order to avoid that.

Another option would be:
Ba3+, Ka7
Ne7+

Which forces a knight trade (black Nxe7, white Bxe7). Black queen taking the knight at d5 would either force a queen trade or just give up material, not something you want unless you're sure you will trap the black king in the process.
>>
>>46660052
Again you can't just assume those positions aren't the starting positions.

And check the board again. I'm not talking about the rook that moved being threatened, I'm talking about the rook that the king commandeered while castling.
>>
>>46658864
Insult your opponent and question their sexuality. Then shit on the board.

I haven't played chess in years, but I'm pretty sure this is a winning move.
>>
The winning move is to resign and go play something else.
