Thinking being a priest gives them a free pass to do whatever they want. My grandparents were super catholic, my grandmother especially, and they insisted my sister and I go to the church they had chosen before we were even born. The priest there was a pretty alright dude from what little I remember but around the time I was 4-5 he was arrested for adultery, molestation, illegal gambling within a church, drunk and disorderly conduct in and out of church, and finally stole a sports car from a dude and drove it on the highway in the wrong direction for about 30 miles. When they caught him he was quoted saying that God had absolved him and he did nothing wrong. Grandma found a new favorite church the next day and never spoke of him again like it never happened. Case and point some people take religious beliefs to far.

There's a reason that in the Liturgy (the pre-Reform Liturgy that was still in Latin was even more clear about this, ironically) that the priest has to confession his sins to God before approaching the altar at the beginning, begging the saints and the congregation to pray for him, before the congregation start to pray for the forgiveness of their own sins.
This is called the Confiteor. It is actually quoted in Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame during Frollo's song "Hellfire" in order to show his hypocrisy in not admitting his own sins that even priests, bishops, and the Pope admit every time they approach the altar. Hence the recurring anthem "Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa."

Carrying on the fish metaphor, I imagine such people represent the deep sea thermal vents, hyper-saline water bodies or underground water systems of the soul menu: rare examples that are entirely unsuitable for most fish/succubi, but a small, highly specialised group of individuals can exploit it.
