You do realize molds cost money, right? That GW can't magically make products appear out of thin air? It's massively cost inefficient to do everything you need to do to put a new model into production for something that's literally only going to ever be available for two days.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. Molds are expensive. When GW put out a new model, their pricing is based on the assumptions that they will get YEARS of use out of it. With this they have TWO DAYS.

Maybe the solution is to not waste money on moulds that will only be used for 2 days or only sold at one physical store on the entire planet or any of the retarded shit GW has been doing. Maybe they should instead use that money to make normal releases for armies that are still waiting for shit. But what would I know, I didn't drive a company that had a near monopoly into the ground.

In a week it will have been featured in consecutive WDs and be available via mail-order, in stores, and on eBay and Craigslist, etc. So, by the time you get it painted, no one at the club will look at him twice. Maybe that works for some, but I have other financial priorities.
