This is why everyone in the creatures' habitat is strongly advisede to wear a sturdy helmet. It won't deter the beast from attacking, but it'll probably die from the impact instead of you -- along with a culling program this has both made the area safer and nearly wiped the species out. It simply doesn't have the brainpower to conceive of a creature being harder than its own horn.
