Is it possible to have a campaign with Invincible PCs?
Like, they can be in dangerous situations where they could maybe get hurt...
But death or having any sort of lethal consequence to losing a fight just won't happen?
>>
Yes. Just don't fuck up with CR and make it seem like they'll lose but they "miraculously" survive. Also wimp GMs who think having a character die is a personal insult to that player.

That's how most of the man-children playing D&D effectively play already.

>Waaaa my character suffered any sort of permanent consequence, I'm gonna throw a fit, cause OOC drama and whine on forums!
>>

Non-lrthal consequences.

Of course, it requires players to actually give a shit about setting, so it's harder than usual.
>>
Not only is it POSSIBLE, but I'd argue that it's so easy that it's a good litmus test: if your group can't do a campaign where nobody can die and still have it be satisfying, your group is majorly dysfunctional or shitty in some way.

Don't let them know about it, or else all tension will be lost forever.
>>
Sure, they might be invincible, but things around them aren't. People they care about, valuable items, comfy places, etc. Imagine giving invincible PC's an escort mission. Make them have fun throwing themselves in harm's way.

Anything time-sensitive is still a challenge. If there's an army between them and where they need to be, being invincible doesn't necessarily mean they're getting through that mess any faster.

Or you can go the superhero route where defeat just means that the plot continues in the overly elaborate and easily escapable death trap. Like I mentioned above, this still might be a bad screwup. They could have been put in the death trap after failing to defend something or whatnot.

The party is entirely comprised of saitamas, but it's a political intrigue campaign.

Read yourself some Superman

OK.

I would play that. There's nothing wrong with trivializing one challenge so you can focus on another.
>>
>>46294396
Exactly. You can focus on the more minute clues of the murder scene since the secret double agent got launched into orbit.
>>
>>46294309
Eh. Still need to keep the murderhobo mentality in check so they don't decide to just combo-punch the city to dust. Give them a comfy home and a few friends they don't wanna destroy.

if the people the PCs care aboutcan die, yes
