Games Workshop would never make something as grimy and regressive as Necromunda nowadays.

It prefers to play it safe with a nice non-imitatable game about intergalactic warfare and genocide in a hopeless future.

Yes. The rules and army builder are free, no direct wombo combos, more synergistic things and more subtle difference between units. It runs on d20s so math is alot easier. I def recommend it as the best skirmish game out right now. There's gonna be an updated campaign rulset at adepticon, so its a great time to pick it up.
