Hey /tg/,
I've been on a bit of a norse mythology craze lately, reading up on the shenanigans of Thor (that crossdressing) and realising that half the dwarves in the Hobbit are total ripoffs*. Now, I'm not just a sucker for norse mythology, but mythology in general. It has a tendency to be crazier and feel far more genuine than regular fantasy settings (gee I wonder why).
Now, what I'm wondering is; are there any solid settings entirely based on a specific mythology? Norse, greek, egyptian, you name it.

The only one that directly comes to my mind is Fate of the Norns: Ragnarock. It is based directly on Norse mythology.
I'm sure there are many others that are based or at least heavily inspired by norse mythology. Can't think of any other mythologys at the moment.
You should be able to find FotN in archived pdf threads. I would search but I don't know the successor of archive.moe

Tékumel is based primarily on Indian myth. Got a game, but it's primarily a setting.
I think lots of fictional mythologies fail to capture the fun and absurdly of real myths
Even the grim gods of the north had whacky hijinks and downright bizarre events for no reason
Yggdrasill is an RPG specificallt for mythic Norse gaming...

Iron Edda is a Fate-based game set in a not-quite-Norse world where dwarves have developed mecha and humans have, in response, started summoning undead giant skeletons to serve as their own mecha to fight back.
