Book of Vile Darkness is probably one of my favorite splat books from 3.5, alongside the Lords of Darkness Faerunian splat, which it borrowed a few things from.
You can easily google up and download the PDFs, and the BoVD contains rules and ideas for things like sacrifices, demon/devil cults, and even extremely edgy things like torturing people to extract liquid pain out of them, while the Lords of Darkness has a lot of information on various cults and other evil organizations.
