Have you tried playing games other than fantasy? I mean, in a techy setting a smart character who's not into fighting and where magic doesn't exist, should be way more common.

Don't even need a tech'y setting. Just play Call of Cthulu or ANY horror game really... generally physical stats don't actually help you much in those kinds of games anyway.
