Orcs and Super Muties are basically the same thing. Even in the early days of fallout before Bethesda butchered the franchise they were the same thing.
i heard somewhere that there was a planned cartoon of The Hobbit, way before the Rankin-Bass one. they were apparently going to go with avian orcs. would've loved to see that.
