Is there a rules-lite system that captures the 60's sci-fi aesthetic well?

Bubblegum, Bubble helmets, and Bubble boobs - things like that, early pop sci-fi. Space Dandy, Flash Gordon, Moebius, Jettsons - esque.

Please no traveller or eclipse phase, those are kinda rule-intensive for what I'm going for. RULES LITE!

>Flash Gordon
Space cowboys fighting space Asians
>Moebius
That basically says nothing. The Hermetric Garage is basically DMPC-tier and Le Monde d'Edena is some wierd shit about eating healthy while dreaming within dreams.
>Jettsons
Family funnies

You really have no idea what you want, do you?

Yeah all those settings are very different, but there's an overarching theme of "light-heartedness" and less serious sci-fi. Settings like blindsight, hyperion, and halo are more hard-sf and can be somewhat daunting to those unfamiliar with the ridiculous amount of tech they contain.

>>46096465
put it very well. Just looking for a system that "complies" well and doesn't require too much tweaking to get the jist across.

Read some cordwainer smiths instrumentality of man and asimovs foundation series for optimistic pro enlightenment values sci if. Also, light hearted sci fi from the sixties? The decade of the new wave? Come on op, read some books.

Not a system like what you are looking for but I would recomend pic as another thing to fit the aesthetic, but with kind of a rock/metal influence.

Did /tg/ every finish that chromatic space babe game?
>>
If you're interested in British 60's-80's Sci-Fi, then Paranoia is pretty good. It can be played to capture the Hitchhikers/Lost in Space/Flash Gordon/Triffids style pretty well/
>>
>>46117162
/tg/ doesn't finish lots of things.

M&M 2E. not super light, but familiar to D&Ders

Why does /tg/ always feel the need to post things that are obviously not what the OP is asking?

That's the only movie I've ever seen where the acting was actually better in the porn spoof.
>>

Famabana that's easy. Its an animu about pulpy space cowboys (japanese) fighting space asians (chinese) with an overpowered main character, disjointed pseudo philosophical tone common to the entire form of animation, set in an overly clean and sanitized future as imagined by post ww2 american consumerism.
>>
>>46133277
so cowboy bebop?

Seconding Slipstream. It basically feels like a Flash Gordon RPG. All the campiness and narm that you would expect from 60's Sci-Fi in one book.
