Butcher could work too but it usually would imply more precision than one expects of a barbarian.
Doesn't need to be a class, just use a knife and take the Rage feats and Knife feats, maybe with Darting Weapon as well. Soldier class probably.

The class system is probably my favourite aspect. In things like D&D it's just way to specific - if you're a barbarian, you NEED to be a primitive savage angryman, if you're a monk, you are expected to be all "chi and inner peace". It's more restrictive than it should be, and without major refluffing a lot of concepts are impossible.

Kinda want to make this an alt class now. A Jason Voorhees class that has a "Hunt/Stalk" rather than rage. While active there's sneak attack and stealth bonuses, maybe Move Silently. Perhaps even early access to moving your full speed while stealthing emulate that chase feel where the psycho can pop in at any time.

A savage, or a primitive Barbarian.
I'd roll it up into a barbarian subtype that gets a bonus with simple weapons like knives, clubs and spears, and class feats and things more geared to throwing weapons and attacking from ambush.
This would be nicely thematic for either a savage knife fighter, or a caveman-type barbarian.

Its a butchers knife, it called a scimitar steak knife. There is one in my sheath every day at work. I don't have a picture of it so have some stirfry.
