Why do orcs tend to have more unique features for each set of media, while elves tend to always be "human with slightly pointy ears", maybe a slightly skinnier/more slender average face shape if we're lucky.

I like the idea of a combination of bestial and human-like features. If I had to create my own setting that has orcs and did illustrations, there wouldn't quite be enough snout to call them pig-like, but not quite too little to say their face looks very humanoid

Ya know, why hasnt someone drawn something that's a cross between the pig orcs but with the facial arrangement of humans. Pig nose but turned down like a humans. No actual snout. Its all just lazy slapping a pig head or snout onto a big human body. Or making it some weird tiny nosed creature (For all I like WoW, fuck their orc design) or a fucking gorilla (3.x orcs are so stupid looking).
