Every time it becomes my turn to choose i'll pick Uno with that new swap card, monopoly, mario party, or any other game that thrives on one player dicking over another. This will serve as a means for me to find out how much each individual means to the others as well serves to drive a rift between family members over time. I'm going to keep this up until we ultimately quit game night to avoid the stress or my games make this fucking family tear itself apart.

I'm at that point in my life where I love my family, but they get on my nerves. One part of me appreciates what they're doing and regrets not doing much to return the favor, but the other part just wants to be left alone and doesn't want to be dragged into conversations or movies, or have everything I do aside from hole up in my room turn into a group activity.

I disliked being forced into game night as a kid because most of the time I simply preferred being left to my own devices. I also took issue with the fact that it was a "do this or you're in trouble" sort of deal because my father is a bit of a control freak.

She joined our game as the elf mother to my half-elf character. She played a humanboo primitive guitar-playing sort of rocker bard, behaved as a small time rockstar and was fucking fans or people in general. DM liked the character idea, but found the ERP hilarious so let it play out and rewarded it. I later found out mom had based the character roughly on herself before she met dad and was in a band, which both grossed and creeped me out. Worse still, she tried to get my character to join her band in-game, as well as join her on the ERP action in the vein of some "mother-daughter action" for guys she was fucking.
She never took any of it seriously and laughed it all off, but for most of us whom the game was serious for and for me for various reasons obviously, it was uncomfortable.
