Fan theory developed couple weeks back here that Khan was picked up in the Webway by the DE and has been relentlessly tortured by them for 10,000 years. Being a primarch he eventually becomes so resistant to pain that they have to force him to experience extreme pleasure instead to feed their Slaanesh-depleted souls. He then somehow winds up in Lillith's care as a result.
