I have a very small elder army, I fight necrons constantly, yet I never seem to win. What am I doing wrong? I have 2 wraithgaurd, 2 guardian squads, 1 dire avenger, unit, a few farseers, a reaper unit, a wraithlord and a transport.

Warp Spiders.
They are extremely annoying for slow races and hurt like hell the ones with low Initiative. Necrons are both.

Also some melee.
Not many like them, but i suggest Banshees. I love banshees.
You can use Striking Scorpions if you want.
