I could see DG trying to eliminate dragon presence in any of the Asian countries allied to the US, although most dragons are okay with humans unlike the most of the Occult.
Also, if the setting is S. Korea, I could see a Korean MJ-12 equivalent trying to force dragons into attacking N. Korea in an attempt to oust the dictator through the locals' folklore beliefs, seeing the dragons as divine punishment or a higher being than Kim-Jong Un.

Adventurers still die horribly and frequently, exploited to a cruel purpose for distant and petty ambitions. The Darkest estate might see the arrival of new classes of adventurers more pitiful and unreliable than the standard fare.
