Replacing Kender with Dunmer: Dunmer worship two daedra who are pretty damn evil and one who's actually pretty chill. I'm not sure which side of the Dragonwars they end up on, probably split up by clans. There's already a lot of friction along those lines by the 3rd era anyway. I figure both sides get some pretty elite troops and relative parity and status quo are maintained. Though any Dunmer who sides against the Dragonlords probably get some weird looks from their allies.

Dark Eldar get replaced with the White Knights from Runescape. They would probably join up with the imperium who would then send them at the tau armed with extreme range weaponry. The White Knights then laugh, turn on Protect from Ranged and take potshots at the blue faggots while sipping prayer potions. Overall a win for the Imperium.

This is actually pretty appropriate. The Charr fulfill the same basic niche, being fantastic tinkerers and mechanics, but do it in a far more badass way. Charr recycle everything into giant amalgams of scrap metal and fire, are incredibly militaristic and value duty and discipline above most other personal traits. They don't care for aesthetics if something isn't functional, and their entire culture is based on that.
In practise, they are a very slightly more civilised take on the 'typical' honourable savage orcs who will declare war on many of the other factions at the drop of a hat, but generally will fight against what they perceive as threats to the world alongside those same factions.

I hate Drow so I'd choose them instead. It'd be roughly the same but the Underdark is now home to a massive warlike civilization with sprawling mines, rough iron structures, and so many fires you don't even need Darkvision anymore.
I think I'm just gonna plant Charr into my next campaign setting. It's a shame I really can't get in to Guild Wars 2 though, I love my Charr Warrior and the entire setting but it's nowhere near what I liked about 1.
