I was thinking of doing a quest where a High school student or a young adult (think 21 years old or so) gains the power of telekinesis similar to the one in the Chronicle movie, where it acts like a muscle inside your brain that you train and if you strain yourself, you get nosebleeds and can black out.
Essentially the quest is about training this ability, possibly having fun with it, exploring the limits of it, and with some NPC input (Like someone catching the MC red handed when he uses his powers) the players can chose to go down the path of a Hero or a Villain or something in-between.

The MC is a rōnin (A Lordless Samurai) during the Feudal or Edo Period and through a series of events, he finds himself forced to help a girl and her little brother to find their parents after they were separated, all the while they're being chased by former members of the Kabukimono (A more violent and rude version of Yakuza/Mafia).

XCX, like Xenoblade Chronicles before it, isn't really a setting that lends itself to quests well. Sure, you could do BLADE Quest, but that's just playing the game.
I guess you could do something like Nopon Merchant quest that plays out like Spice and Wolf minus the Holo (I guess you could give them a Prone hired bodyguard waifu instead) but I imagine people would get bored fast of playing the bottom of the food chain.

5 PM EST and onwards. That's when most people are off from work and school. More population on weekends, but during the holidays the population of players are scarce.

That being said, anything that has good writing coupled with good QMing and has an interesting setting tends to pull in players.

I suggest looking at quests that have had long, successful, and most importantly -completed- quests such as shadow quest, zeon quest, exabytes many pre-anonkun quests, and zerg quest to see what it takes to meet with success - mainly, keep things interesting and march on despite shitposts.

You're an exorcist. You get paid to go into abandoned buildings, dark alleyways and eerie locales to deal with ghosts, monsters and other things that go bump in the night.
Really simple and straightforward. Downtime in between jobs would be learning more skills to use, building up social links and investigating mysteries.
Probably will have some overarching plot like a group trying to resurrect something incredibly evil, the MC seeking revenge on a monster, or trying to track down somebody important from their past.

Fantasy is a pretty huge genre, rivaled pretty much only by sci-fi in how ridiculously huge and vague it is. Is it really so surprising that people pitch quests in a strike range that large?

You play as Nomad, part of Raptor Team; a team of soldiers who all wear an augmented suit known as a 'nanosuit'. Your job is to infiltrate an island in the grips of North Korean control and investigate strange satellite emissions occurring in the heart of one of the Island's mountain ranges.
How you do this is entirely up to you.
Players could go to the only developed town left standing on the Island and gather info, they could run jobs for the NK soldiers; since their affiliation is strictly a secret, They could perform anything from menial tasks to complicated super-science in order to get the information needed to infiltrate to the heart of the Island.
Or they could blow absolutely everything up.
Their team consists of eight members of Raptor unit plus a support team over radio. All of them have quirky personalities and can be called at any time.
