i once gifted something like this to a friend , it was in marble and the pieces were kind of like these,but fatter and had a very wonky look.i love them,but they weigh a lot and we rarely get to use them out of his house

Don't play it much because all of my friends are normie faggots who only know how to play checkers. The bishops are a lot taller than the pawns so it's not that hard to tell them apart
