Daily reminder that the confederacy of independent systems did nothing wrong

They did a lot wrong, though
Yeah, they had some entirely valid points, but they still did quite a lot wrong.
They had no problems killing entire civilian populations for the hell of it and building up a massive slave empire in the Outer Rim, foreclosing on planets that couldn't pay exorbitant interest rates, and on kidnapping diplomats and pretending nothing happened to them.
The entire point of the Clone Wars was to show how both sides of the conflict had valid concerns and how both sides had their major dark sides (figuratively and literally) and how both were just puppet states controlled by the galaxies greatest mastermind.

They made a whole lot of mistakes, but they were right about a few things.

One of the (many) weak points of the prequels is that we never see why the separatists want to separate themselves, or why that would be wrong. Sure, the trade federation were dicks, but as far as we know they have been dealt with somewhere in the past 10 years.Nobody mentions any other crimes or misdeeds committed by them. So why is it bad that these people no longer want to be a part of the Republic?

The guys in charge were responsible for so much wrong and were corrupting the republic

TCW salvaged that a little. The real CIS was a bunch of systems amounting to almost a third of the Republic. The separatist leaders in the OPs image are actually the shadowy behind-the-scenes corporations primarily responsible for the Republic's poor state of affairs up to the prequels. The deal they were cutting with Dooku was to provide a massive droid army to the Confederate systems, mostly so instead of just being rich and powerful within the Republic, they would eventually get to be the merchant kings of their own intergalactic nation. Some, like Tambor and his Techno Union were true believers in the Separatist cause. Others like the Trade Federation and the Banking Clan were playing both sides of the war up until its conclusion.
In TCW we get to meet the actual Separatist Congress in charge of their politics on Raxus. It's obvious to everyone except them that they're just the puppets of the corporate military.

Like Hitler?
The Confederacy is a corporate government ruled by the very people who screwed over the Republic and made it the corrupt hole that it is. Not to mention that they were lead by a Sith Lord.

Yes, anon.

I'm onto you OP.
They were in the prequels

Why did the Empire stick two giant CIS logos on the sides of their primary fighter craft?

have you never taken a trophy from a defeated enemy?
>>44155680
They made quite a few mistakes, the greatest of them all being manipulated losers.
