All blank space marines I did so you can colour them digitally or after printing.

Ah! Just the thread I was looking for.
I recently became acquainted with the rules for Kings of War. For those not introduced Kings of War is basically a streamlined, better Warhammer Fantasy ruleset that works with Warhammer models as well as any other, by veteran formers at GW.
A quirk of the system is that individual models are never removed; instead the entire regiment takes damage counters which increase the likelihood of a failed rout test. Coupled with the streamlined rules for base sizes and unit counts, and the blessed inclusion of an actual heigh stat, and this means that all units have a predictable cubic prescence on the battlefield.
After having read through those rules I browsed another of these papercraft threads and it hit me. Paper cutouts would be perfect for these rules! I had a go tracing one of the cubenets on a notepad and it all works out.

That's fuckin' adorable. I'd play that. jeedubs can't stop us from printing paper, can they? Sure it's not dynamically posed figured but who cares? It's not like fasntasy's supported anymore anyway.
