New OOTS, surprised there wasn't a thread yet.
Well, seems like the pets are finally going to do something.
There were a pair of threads, but they both were deleted. Was weird.
>>43809452
Huh, why now after god knows how many years?
>>43809502
I'm thinking they may have realized the threads were duplicated, and each deleted their own.
>>43809361
>he actually stops his holy mission just to fight a cat on equal ground
Are all vampires in this setting fucking stupid?
Because I'm okay with that.
>>43809502
Because mootwo wants to run the ship differently.
OotS is now strictly /co/.
>>43809850
But it's literally D&D: The webcomic, whilst waifu quest #468 gets the green light?
Please tell me you're wrong, anon.
Please.
>>43809793
He's not going to fight the cat.
He's going to mind-control it into attacking the bird.
>>43809896
or summon Dire Rats
>>43809896
That'd be interesting, but still really fucking stupid. If he was making his mission a priority he'd just punt the cat into the wall and grab the damn thing.
Not that I don't like the dramatic tension, but christ this vampire is dumb too.
>>43809850
And where did mootwo say this?
Just as recently as Oct 27 we've had OOTS threads that run into the hundreds of posts. We've been having these threads for YEARS, even through those ridiculously long hiatuses where the story dies to a trickle. If you search the archive for /co/ you can barely find any threads, and they refer to Thog Edits as "that thing that /tg/ does".
>>43809588
>each deleted their own
Anon...
How does one man fit so many unnecessary and such unfunny panels into one comic
This was like 7 panels of content, tops, and the last 3 should've just been redone entirely because it was way too much bullshit for a really stupid joke
Like, I normally don't care about the length of the comics, but this shit was just pure padding in its worst form
>>43810716
Because each page needs to fit into an A4 book whilst also being a self-contained comic.
So doing a 6 panel comic would stuff up his formatting for when the book is eventually published.
>>43810776
SO WHY NOT THINK OF ACTUAL CONTENT TO PUT IN THE FULL FUCKING COMIC THEN
Anyone got the pdfs of the books?
>>43810716
Could be worse. There have been pages where the whole thing is literally 50% text bubble.
>>43809361
OH MY GOD, WILL THIS COMIC EVER GET TO THE POINT? TO ANY POINT AT ALL?
>NewVamp has to fight ranger animal companion
>NewVamp has to fight BELKAR'S animal companion.SlaughterHalfing is on the way back.
>>43810856
Because the book comes first. Burlew has said previously that the single page updates are only because that's what he has always done.
>>43809361
Can someone please remind me what the orb does? I mean I know it was probably mentioned just a few pages back, but that was like half a year ago at this point.
>>43812872
It's a teleport orb.
http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0989.html
>>43812872
Iirc, that's the teleport orb, for skipping to the final dungeon.
>>43813148

Thanks guys. Here's to hoping he doesn't bring up some minor item they picked up in the desert as a plot device at some point and expect me to remember it.

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
>>43814340
Pretty funny, but it's poor taste to erase part of a letter to change it to another one.
>>43814340
>I'll rek u cunt
>>43813425
Yeah, as far as I can tell there plan was to just teleport to where they wanted to go. The Godsmoot was just a detour to get Durkon ressed.
>>43816238
That's pretty much what they were planning, yeah. They were going to ditch the Mechane back in Gnometown.
>>43812820
>We can't have actual content in a full comic because that's hard so have half a comic's worth of content excruciatingly extended over a full comic's worth of panels
Seriously, fuck this guy
I'm the cracka that did the Backstroke of the West edit last time.
Here's another since people asked for more.
>>43819011
What
Is this a duwang translation?
Someone please define "ornithocentric"
>>43809850
There is literally no reason to delete a D&D based webcomic on /tg/.
The hotpocketta Man is just a fucking retard

The absolute best to this day.
>>43814340
It's not a true Thog since you added parts but it's brilliant.
>>43812316
You know nothing, Anon Snow.
Goddammit, Rich. Learn to fucking tell a story. After a climactic battle between Roy and Durkula, nobody wants to spend a month reading about the wacky adventures of loud bird, angry cat, and dwarf extra 489.
>>43814340
Fucking christ this is too good

It always flows better in the books - which, you know, the comic is made for now.

You've never played a white wolf game.
See, in Vampire, well, all White Wolf games, really, a housecat is more dangerous than most not-optimized PCs.
I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP.
The housecats have claws, high speed, loads of Agility... And they can fuck over a vampire harder than a human with a shotgun.
Go lookup their stats.
>>43814340
I lost it at Plan Rave.
>>43824155
This, if it bug you that much just read it in big chunks, rather than as the pages come out. It flows a lot better
>>43826958
Don't expect logic on here. It's literally a free comic yet people expect some perfect product that updates daily.
>>43827245
Strawman much? I don't care if it updates regularly or irregularly, but it's still terrible storytelling for the product it is.
As for the "perfect" thing? I wish this attitude of "you can't criticize anything free!" would die the fiery death that kind of pathetic entitlement deserves.
>>43814340
this pleases the queen
>>43810716
No, this one leaves it with the feeling like V is about to do something, while the wordwords made it clear that he wasn't unless something changes.

thog prefer thog's version
>>43828154
It's not that you can't criticise it, it's just that everyone seems so butthurt over the comic that I question why people keep reading it.
Viewing the comic, even if you hate it, generates revenue for Burlew. So if you hate it, why view it?
>>43810993
I got the pdfs to two kickstarter stories, if you are interested. Not sure if the Dark Sun parody is out already.
>>43828534
oh, thanks a lot for the explanation
>>43829663
Oh boy, I am!
>>43829203
Burlew gets no revenue from images on 4chan.
>>43828613
the massive pause then "no" always gets me
>>43809918
Is it a thing in OOTS-land that Undead are dumb as shit? Thus part of why Xykon's a threat, he's actually NOT but people expect he is so he plays it up?
>>43833689
Xykon has always been how he is for the most part from what we've seen in the prequel book.
>>43833689
Other than Xykon, the ones we've seen have all been "minion" typed, and they do seem to show very little to no capacity for thinking of anything outside of what their "Master" has told them to do and what of the immediately obvious options will forward that goal.
But we don't have a huge sample size for that.
