At first it was just the drider. We all had a laugh about how he (a Paladin) was *her* special mount, and how he was forced to pay her alimony out of his gold share. Pretty soon though my guy was getting drugged by Yuan-Ti hookers, propositioned by Copper Dragons, and had a sex cult chasing him around. It was basically a harem anime.
Scion game. I played an accountant. An accountant who died taking out the big bad with a briefcase full of magically-enhanced Semtex.

The game was originally going to be about mercenaries doing mercenary things in a war torn world with lots of mysteries and ancient relics/ruins, some monsters on the side, etc. Pretty much a copypasted Xenogears setting, but more focus on the down to earth aspects of it than the 2deep parts in the later half. The party consists of an operator from not!Solaris, a clone from some ancient civilization, and a not!middleeastern guy who runs the mercenary group itself.
What started as a joke ended with the operator guy basically becoming Solid Snake, complete with solo sneaking missions outside of his mech and responding to people like an autist with "____, huh?" The clone is a genderless freak of nature and gets butthurt when referred to as a "he" or a "she" and is generally just a (comically) obnoxious cunt. It's also hellbent on eradicating all humans, but has a 50 year contract with the merc leader obligating it not to (it actually has the means to do so, making the situation even funnier). Then the merc leader himself is a warmongering lunatic who by this point has pretty much given the entire setting a death sentence just to make a few quick bucks (which is even funnier when you consider the system doesn't actually track money, he's just getting rich fluff-wise). He also operates the codec and uses it to give buffs to the operator guy while he's on solo sneaking missions.
Sounds like a clusterfuck but it's actually a fun group. The campaign is turning out a lot better than the original concept somehow.

My character just... had a bad day.
Just one really rotten day, where his parents got killed, his friends and girlfriend got killed trying to get him out of a job that finally was going to let his parents work a little less, and he found out that he had been supporting a rape tournament the whole time.
It ended with killing Satan and a murder-suicide that numbered into the billions.
