If I were a General, I'd use the Kriegers as walls and expendables. They go into the places that you don't send more valuable troops like the Cadians and the Catachans.
Ultimately, they're more expendable than the rest of the Guard and they won't complain about it either.
Of course, in a conflict where I need someone to actually win, I send in the Cadians.
I'm personally a big fan of all the drop regiments. Specifically the Warhawks.
