I'm currently working on a campaign for some buds and I'm having trouble finding monsters
Any ideas for a very mountainous/rocky northern region?
Take a monster that oridinarily doesn't live in the mountains.
Put it in the mountains.

Take a creature native to the area.
Do an evil spin on it.
Pikas, for example, those uber-cute rabbit/mouse bastards. They are now carnivorous, hunt in packs, and will pull people apart a piece at a time and take them to their burrows to eat on slowly making their dens horrible gore holes.

Northern Regions? Take the fucking wendigo. Not the shitty until dawn gollum wendigo though. Either a human one like in the movie ravenous or the classic one with fur and antlers and frozen hearth and shit.
