Geographically or inhabited space?
The first literally doesn't matter, you just nuked some pine trees and moose, and the latter is still a small sacrifice compared to what you might sacrifice in East Asia, India, or Africa.
Or even most of the rest of the Western Hemisphere. I Would nuke most of Canada every day of the week for a week plus and not feel too bad about it. I would only really relent when I started getting close to nuclear winter levels, and even then, I would only stop if I thought it wouldn't help against the aliens. If it was something like the Race from Turtledove and I thought I had no other choice, I would use that as a bargaining chip. I found this old copypasta for your perusal
>Overflow tree. See this guy? He is the protagonist and antagonist in the Overflow visual novel franchise. His name is Tomaru Sawagoe, and he is a billionaire who is obsessed with f***ing. For about 40 years, he seduces every woman that he comes across and f***s her. Usually impregnating her. It doesn't matter if she is his daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, etc. The other protagonists in the franchise are his sons, including Makoto Itou. Remember Sekai? Because of Tomaru, Makoto is her uncle. In fact, every female in School Days is related to Makoto, except for Katsura. Other children from him are the characters in Sister Princess. Tomaru even has a line where he impregnated a girl, impregnated her daughter once she was able to be, and repeats the process using drugs to make them able to have children at younger and younger ages. The final girl that he impregnates in that line is his great great great granddaughter, who was in kindergarten when she had her son. Over all, Tomaru has over 50 children. His sons who become VN protagonists follow in his footsteps and make the web even more tangled. the only "normal" person in the entire family is Makoto Itou. And THAT is saying something.
>>39651829
>>39651629
Even easier to do if you have the religion of either Messalian or Zoroastrian.
Normally you have seduce your daughters and grand daughters and have extra marital affairs to breed a broad enough genetic homogeny to create a perpetuating dynasty that is capable of perpetuating itself in an inbred state. Not so with those two religions. Those two see incest as sacred because of the Divine Blood thing.

Gunsmith Cats is actually a spinoff of Sonoda's earlier Riding Bean manga, It didn't last very long before he decided to reinvent the Rally he created and focus on her as the main character.
Just so you don't get confused if you watch the movie and wonder why Bean has been sleeping with a blonde-haired Rally.
That said, it's still the same old Bean Bandit.

>>39654515
Drawfags you say?
>>39654546
Japan just doesn't have the market for manly men protagonists. I guess even a Westaboo like Sonoda couldn't think of much to do with Bean as a lead character and so relegated him to secondary a cool secondary character whose appearance means shit's about to get real.

I still want a game like this. Not WW2 or 50s stuff like the Bureau game, but actual slow shooting, bolt action rifles. That would fit Xcom's style of gameplay better; especially if you wanted to give certain heavy characters the ability to carry around machine guns they need to set up before firing.
Though really I think it would be interesting if you made an Xcom 1912 game and made it so the aliens stay as the same power level as in modern/classic XCom. That way your troops really are weak as fuck and alien technology becomes even more useful.
I'm really starting to think that there needs to be a no anime rule for these threads.

They don't really know much of anything outside if japan. They think it never storms in haiwaii, they think that minnesota never gets warm, that california is always full of rich people no poor people, new york city isn't full of assholes, etc. they think canada being a bigger country means its full of people because they can't imagine all that unused land, they legitimately think you're the nicest people and that none of you are capable anger or hate due to culture. I've talked with plenty of exchange students who have "studied" these things ahead of time to fend of culture shock. They also think america isn't a crowded place and most didn't know about the border fence or our hate of most any immigrants not just mexicans.
>>39654891

>>39655104
Sorta. Depending on the ending,Chris may go home with (in the good end) or without (in the bad one) this one demon girl she fell in love with.

Not entirely though they think we clap way to much. A few claps at the appropriate time says alot to them and our "overuse" of it is confusing. Best is when batman came out and people actually clapped during the credits. Confused the fuck out of 2 students and the other just kinda clapped to seem normal. They do not understand how american tipping works. Teach them 15% is considered average and they get that but not the situations its supposed to be used in. They'll tip a bus driver 15% or a cab driver per mile etc. but won't tip over 15% in a restaurant party of 12 people (they stick together when going out) its odd watching someone tip a flowerist for helping them pick out the exact roses his girlfriend would love. Nice. But odd. They also don't understand our good portion deal. They seem to think its rude to not eat everything on the plate even though they're used to portions at least half that size so you got a group spending an hour at mcdonalds to make sure they can power through it all.
>>39654515

Also had to explain tipping in general. Some thought it pooled between shift workers or it went to the waiter and chef then when i explain it went solely to that one waiter they couldn't understand how he was making minimum wage but the bartender made $200 at least on fridays.
Explained that tipping a pizza delivery guy didn't mean tipping a mcdonalds worker even though they both work fast food. Side note: they LOVE our pizza because pizza there is fast food quality. Give them dominoes and they want that every day for a month.

>>39655709
If you've read the books then it makes sense. Because when Molly kills her in the book it's worthy of a clap or at least some sign of vocal approval. To see that moment played out on the big screen probably made it all the better for some.
