Meaning, is your hard disk formatted as NTFS, or FAT32?
If it's NTFS, it should not be a problem. If it's FAT32, however, anything with a filesize bigger than 4GB will not be able to move/copy into the HDD unless you reformat the HDD to NTFS. There is a way to convert from FAT32 to NTFS without reformat, but it's complex and you might still have data loss, so I'd recommend a reformat to be safe.
