A free western porn game in the vein of IllusionSoft dollhouse games.
It offers a lot of customization compared to newer Japanese h games. You can create girls/boys/shemales, poses, clothes, rooms, items, whatever the fuck you want and make them fuck each other the way you want! This game has top tier character creation, there's sliders for almost everything to make your perfect character/waifu.

What are you trying to install?
Mods basically go in one of three places:
files that end in .txx go in TheKlub17/Archives/2.114.001/
folders that have a Base.id, Personality.cc, and Info.txt go in TheKlub17/Save/Models/
folders that are just a bunch of .png images and a .txf go in TheKlub17/Mods/ActiveMod/
Some mods that you download will have all three of these because it's a character that includes the mods it requires. Put each of the parts in their respective folders.

If youre running at least i5 2500K, more than 4GB system RAM and GPU with at least 2GB VRAM, the repack can be used to replace all the content in the vanilla torrent, and provide you with models, rooms and graphics that can already match the best posters here. You know, saving you the trouble of finding the mods piece by piece on MG.
A word of caution: the repack is actually a backup directory from a user called 'veryslow', and all mods in there are made to cater to his tastes. If you want a different body type, clothing, etc, you still have to skim through MG.

When installing new poses, move your old poses to a backup folder then move in the new ones.
Now check the new ones and keep the ones you want or nuke them alltogether.

i'm doing it the other way around.
i put the super pose pack folder next to my poses folder andp I copy them 30-50 at a time into my PoseEdit folder and go into the "Untagged" folder to test them out. I tag the sex poses I decide to keep according to what models they require in which positions

That way when I pick three characters to start a scene, I go to the tag folder for the matching equipment so I don't have to scroll past a bunch of handjobs when I've got three women, or a bunch of vaginal poses when I've got men or shemales.

Downloaded base from torrent. Replaced all content with VerySlow's repack.
Downloaded a model, contains base.id nad such as you described, indicating the entire named model folder (Model####) goes into Save/Models/. Placed entire folder there.
Doesn't show up in game as far as I can tell. Where do I look in game for the model? At the character select? Where should it be in that menu? I don't see it.

If you run the TK17 Options Manager.exe, it has options for disabling anime males, anime females, lookalike males, lookalike females, custom males, etc, etc. VerySlow may have done that, idk.
Don't run that app, though. On my build, at least, running that seems to randomly disable some of my mods and I don't know why. Instead, go into your game, pick a character (male, female, or shemale according to the character you want to add) and click the "clone" button. Then go into your models folder (you don't have to exit the game to do this) and find the newly created clone's folder (there should be a "Clone No 117" or whatever by their picture in the game, that will tell you what folder to look for them in). Copy everything from your model into that folder except for the Base.id.
Then go back into your game, select "choose sex partner" and select that clone again. When you go into "customize" you should see the new model, and when you exit "customize" or switch to one of the other two models in the customizer room (click on the icon of their face to highlight them) the icon for the clone will change to show the face of the newly added character.

Use the tags so it doesn't load them all at once.
-right-click on the pose icon
-type a descriptive term ("blowjob", "anal", "MMF", or whatever) into the little box
-click "new tag"
-click "close"
the pose will now disappear from the "untagged" folder. once you enter a tag, you can just click on it to apply it to the next pose instead of typing it again.
If you split them into 5 categories the game will only be loading 500 at a time and it won't slow the menu down.

I'm only halfway through sorting all the ones I've downloaded so I can understand why you might feel it's too much work, but I don't understand why you feel a need to post about it if you weren't asking for help/advice.

There's an MMM, I just forgot to type it in the post.
I'm pretty sure it's my largest tag, 609 poses so far, since it includes any anal pose that doesn't include 3rd. Most of those are also in MMF and MFM, but I've got more three-guy poses than I have two-guy-and-a-girl poses.
Oh, and the 4,860 number is files, which means it's actually 2,430 poses since each one has a .pes and an icon.png. So 1/4 of my poses are in MMM.

These are super tough questions to answer, since there's no really good way to tell which eye iris is which. I think it's eyeiris05 (link included) and eyeball reflection is made by shox (do now ask me what file it is or where you can get it).

If memory serves me correctly it's a reflection mod by shox. I added a rar file with all eye-related files from my activemod folder, if anyone wants to try it out. The eyeball name in-game is Full white (no iris) - eyeball04. If there's more files required to get the reflection to work please let me know.

I'm using a Level def that I dropped in my base active mod folder so with out changing defs its hard to get your lighting. I'm still having trouble figuring everything out. I would like a level definition that I can use with any room somewhat decently, or just a few i can change at whim.. Still a noob with this hook lighting its a lot of trial and error.

You're never going to obtain excellent lighting without the use of a level_definition, m8. You also have to juggle them because some level_definitions are best suited for some rooms while most others peak only with one type of room.
And yeah--the more light? The better your screens are. Y'gotta show off them bumpmaps.

You need to get a separate level_definition for each room. Check out the topic in MG that has them, you'll be surprised. EXMY's definitions are excellent. Simply drop the txt file in the room folder in activemod. (some rooms, especially vanilla, will require you to download textures first if you don't have the folder.)
The biggest difference is that in outdoor rooms you can generally rotate the sunlight by pressing "L" and indoor rooms might have a set definition which cannot be changed.
The best thing is that you can change the definition file values on the fly, save the txt file and simply reload the textures in-game so you see the changes immediately.

I'm reading through the pastebin looking to improve the look of my game. I've resigned myself to the inability to run Hook 3 or 4 because my GPU is made of two potatoes and a hamster with a crayon, So I get to the bit about KlubAdept's method for using more than one body mesh instead of just having a replacer for all female body shapes, it points here: http://modsgarden.cc/projects-other-mods/31/klubadepts-beta-pre-release-thread/2644/ but there are only a couple of posts about it, the rest of the thread is about Hair Sizer and a mod for Blender.
So let me see if I've got this straight:
With the Custom Persons .txx installed I can use downloaded characters which use different body shapes if I have the .txx for the body shape installed, but there's no option in TK17 to swap to a different body shape (that requires editing the model with the TKCustomBodyTool after which that character will load in TK17 with the specified body).
Sound right so far?
Now I've already downloaded a bunch of different body meshes with names like "Custom.Body01.SkinnyBody.h77Vagina.txx" and "Custom.Body01.PlumpFever.txx" but I don't see anything about this 800-900 ID number that KlubAdept was talking about. Are these mods usable with the tool or are these the kind that have to be renamed to replace the mesh for all female bodies? I tried just copying the Custom.Body01.PlumpFever.txx" into Archives/2.114.001 like I did with the Ophelia mod (which automatically horsecocked all shemales) but nothing seems to have changed.

I did exactly that and I can't get it to work. I mean, it works before I apply the VS pack, but right after pasting on top the mod I get pic related message as the game is starting to run (directX renderer choose).
Just to be clear, this were the steps I followed

>Set the rederer type to DirectX
>Deactivated vertical synchronization
>Saved and pressed on "Start"
The game works fine before the VS repack, so the problem is most likely there.

wait...i just noticed you have TheKlub17 inside your Games folder instead of the root of C:. If you did a regular install instead of a Portable install, the "Play The Klub 17.exe" is probably trying to launch C:/TheKlub17/Binaries/TK-114.001.exe and that isn't where the .exe is. Try moving your TheKlub17 folder to the root of C drive.

I just noticed the action slider for the sybians in my game has been replaced with a rug beater. The girl still takes the same position on the sybian, but instead of the slider and vibrating sound that should be there, there's a rug beater toy moving in and out.
It still causes basically the same animation and reaction from the girl, I can't even see the rug beater itself unless I sink the camera into the floor, but what the hell?

Good shit. Had to tweak the body a bit (the arms were hella long) but that face is spot on. Sorta curious about your hook settings as well, because when I loaded the model up, the skin brightness was turned way down--an easy fix to fuck with that and the contrast to make it look like what you've got in the screens though.

For the past 6 hours I've downloaded the mods detailed in the 6th post for Yura, and Haruka. After backing up, and moving the files where they need to go, and after several attempts with manually moving the mods to where they need to be, it failed. Then I got the manager and shit still didn't work. I'm so pissed at this point because this is the same fucking story every god damn time and i usually end up deleting the fucking game after about a week because to the best of my abilities modding just doesn't fucking work with me.

The models look flawed, there are parts of the skin that are rendered a different color, and when the model is loaded she looks almost nothing like what her base model is suppose to. The hook works perfectly. I even got the exact same one used for that guys mod hook49d. I'd show a picture, but I've already started fresh. Never had that issue before. Might be a body mod you're using, but in the pose edit the eyes are usually fully closed before the slider is even halfway to the right.
Found out the hard way that it's ridiculously hard to make poses for the pirate ship room. The entire fucking thing is moving, and it moves the actors with the ship. Which would actually be kind of cool, and sort of makes you wonder what more they could do with that kind of shit if it wasn't such a pain in the dick to move anything around.

ok, i figured it out.
all of those body mods work with it and i don't even need to have those body mods in archives/114.001, the tool makes a new .txx that causes a single character to show up in character select with the body i loaded into the tool.
it was crashing/exiting every time i tried to select an icon after selecting a body and naming it, but cancelling still makes the .txx and loading the blank character in-game and editing them makes an icon.
So basically you can use it to make a set of up to 100 default characters with different body types and then clone and edit them to have alternate body types available without replacing the default body shape for everybody.

If you're looking for the best photoposes, that'd probably be ekusoy. Only problem is he only makes stuff on the 3x website, so you have to download his shit, load it into 3DSV2, and manually copy it from that folder to the TK17 one. Kind of a pain in the ass honestly but the dudes made a lot of great poses over the years, and he's still making them. It's the 1% of stuff from there that isn't actually total shit. Thing is, any pose made after the big 4-some update on the 3x website won't work on TK17 until we get our own update, so you can only grab the older shit, which is still the majority of poses there.

The options manager cuts down the model list by adding a "Custom.NoRealModelS.txx" "Custom.NoHentaiModelsF.txx" and so on, depending on which group you opt to hide.
I'm 99% sure it either removed my custom sizer txx or changed the extension to .txx.disabled because after running it I noticed that the check-boxes for Eye Scale Mod, 75 Degree FOV, etc weren't there anymore and I could no longer bring up the customization window in Free Mode.
Not sure what else it turned off, but I noticed some time later that I had several of those .txx.disabled files in Archives/2.114.001. At the time it happened, I copied the Archives folder from a back-up into my regular game and it fixed it, but I don't actually know whether it deleted those .txx or just .disabled them (or what else it affected).
The good news is that copying the Archives folder back in meant I then had both the non-.disabled .txx files and the "Custom.NoRealModelS.txx" files so if you just make a backup of your archives folder before running the Options Manager and then copy it back in you'll keep all of your mods.
(or maybe you just need to rename those .txx.disabled back to .txx, i dunno)
Actually I need to do this again myself to clear all the default characters out now that I figured out how to use the TK Custom Body Tool.

I think some of the base models have different facial structures from each other. I've noticed that copying a saved face onto two different base characters doesn't always result in the same face. I'm not sure if it's the body mesh or some other feature I haven't noticed (the face option right under the skin texture in the customization window is only for the texture map, not the mesh, if I'm not mistaken. You can always just clone her and edit the clone if you're wanting to use that facial structure for another character.

Yes, the base models are distinctly different. When a character is listed as "Cloned from XXXX", the original is typically the name of the base face. That's kind of the point of the game, though. One of the first things I did was page through the garden downloading a bunch of models and then that Mega Model Pack and now I'm disabling all of them because I only ever use my own characters anyway.
I can't do anything for recognition, likes, or elitism when my laptop won't even run Hook4, that's not remotely why I want to make my own characters. Only downloading other people's stuff is kind of like buying pre-assembled Lego kits and never taking them apart to build something of your own. It just kinda misses the point of Lego blocks. The coolest thing about this game is the creative freedom it gives you.

Confirmed, the "TK17 Options Manager.exe" does rename any .txx it doesn't recognize to .txx.disabled.
Also confirmed that all you have to do is batch-rename ".txx.disabled" to ".txx" to fix it.
There's no option to disable base females, though, so I've still got all of them but checked all the rest just so see what would and wouldn't be removed. In addition to the base females, It still shows any clones I made as well as all the characters made via .txx through the Custom Body Tool.

I swear I've tried but I can't get the voice mod system to work. The software they said to use crashes all the time (because of the way my country uses comma instead of period or something wtf) and when ever I try to add a voice pack manually it does jack shit.
I have the voice packs that came with some update going up to Mod female english 7 or 8. Only ones I use are
- Mod female english 3 (this is OK although I get sick of hearing balls slapping against asses)

One of the room modders on modsgarden, username 'pandjabi', has a rig worth in excess of 3000USD. His extensively textured rooms runs at only 30 fps, the same performance you can get with a ~1000USD mid-end rig.

just a guess, here, but the models are probably in .txx form and won't show up in the save/models folder unless you modify them in-game. That's how the default characters in the base game work, anyway.
To copy a character from a normal game into NC, you should just need to:
-go into NC, select a body and clone it
-select clone, go into customizer, and then switch to one of your other two models in the customizer (this will make the game create a Save/Models/Model____ folder for the clone)
-find your model in your old game
-copy everything except base.id into the clone's folder in NC
