watched The Long Way 'Round with Ewan Mcgregor? Its a full series that came out back in the 2000's. It's on netflix I think. Basically just Ewan Mcgregor driving around the world on a motorcycle, it was pretty good, but I'm also not that into the genre so I'm not sure how it compares.

It has a lot of complaints that "they had so much money they couldn't fail" but I really enjoyed the Long Way Round, the banter between Charlie and Ewan was great and although they had the support vehicle a day behind them they were alone for the most part of it. They really made an effort to get away from the fame and just enjoy the adventure.
The Long Way Down however I found really disappointing, this time they really did have too much money and fame so it was more an endurance test sticking to their tight schedule if anything.

Naw man, his bike broke and they had to buy some cheap as Chinese thing. Shipped the BMW off and got it repaired. He had it back at the time of Alaska I think. maybe shortly before.
