Hey everyone. I just felt like contributing with something to the internet for once and now since I've now got 100/100 connection this seems like the right time to do so.
What I've got here is a fuckhuge collection of books (most of them are pdf) as well as infographs and some other shit.
This library as I suppose one can call it is comprised of many smaller libraries. I think the computer stuff comes from the installgentoo library, but as for the other libraries I am not so sure.
So if you already have some library rip downloaded then you might have to check for dupes.
I have personally attempted the daunting task of organizing all the stuff and merging the stuff into single easy to find categories.
What I did was to merge two torrents which contained different library rips and then I tried to divide stuff into some kind of generalized categories, which in turn contained smaller subcategories.
But due to my lack of knowledge on some subjects, as well as lack of time I didn't fully complete the organization process. It may look like shit now, but it was more of a fractured mess before.
I haven't added much to the library apart from some epub books (sadly the only ones in the entire library), as well as some music and videogame charts.
I hope you will appreciate this and have some kind of use for it. Maybe you could just hoard it in case the internet dissappears forever.

Then if you really want those books you might just have to resume the torrent everytime it fucks up. That's what I did to get those books cause I couldn't solve the problem.

If so, there is a problem with the Gentoomen Library, which this torrent seems to include.
The following files cause the error:
Programming/Haskell/yaht.pdf

because windows doesn't make the difference between lower case and upper case letters in filenames, so there is a conflict.
I think they are in the 'Computers' section.
To get around the error:
- Stop the torrent
- Go to where you are saving the torrent and delete those files
- Open the file list of the torrent you are downloading, and disable downloading for 1 of the 2 files (i.e. for Computers/Programming/Haskell/yaht.pdf and Computers/Programming/Python/Making Use Of Python (2002).pdf)
- Resume download

And if you are seeding the torrent and uploading the file to a website, the bandwidth will be shared and it will take something like 24 days before anyone can have it.
Or is you current upload speed temporary? Or are you able to upload it to Mega much faster? If not, I would suggest you to keep to torrenting, it will be the fastest way everyone can have it.
Anyway, I've successfully managed to merge my previous torrent and this one, which amounts to a total of 32GB I already have. Maybe it will speed things up for everybody (my max upload is 600KB/s).
However I'm barely uploading anything at the moment - is everyone able to get the file properly? I see several peers to which I upload a little, but they aren't reporting any progress.

If there are files you don't need or don't want just don't download them. Is it just one archive or multiple? We need more information. You can't just scream virus and not give any details or your actions may be perceived as fear mongering.
In any case I did the legwork for you. I'll assume our little miscommunication was caused by a language barrier. I've scanned all archives in the Reverse Engineering folders of both the OG files and the Updated ones using MalwareBytes, Norton 360 and Avast. There were no hits in any of the OG archives. In the Updated files I had two hits with these archives.

How many of these are false positives due to trainers? I don't know. Should you abandon all hope for this torrent? Thats up to you. But these are the files I've found. If these aren't the files you were talking about please let us know so we can get an actual list going. In the mean time if the thought of these files sitting inactive on your harddrive terrifies you just uncheck them in your clients download order or delete them.

I just downloaded this a few days ago, expecting a great library, a collection of selected knowledge about anything.
And all I have is a lot of dissapointing shit.
A good part of documents and images are obsolete, or just shit tier publications.
Another good portion are duplicates (I saw even triplicates) or practically the same thing (i.e. dozens of books on how to make the same fucking tool).
Just with this, we have the 80% out. 24 Gb went to the trash the first day, and I still have a lot of work to do to clean this shit.
And that hard work bring us to the second big problem. I don´t know who had "arranged" this, but I can say he has serious mental issues.

Like for example:
C:\users\anon\documents\misc_stuff\stuff\more_stuff\everything you need to know ever\Math\General Mathematics\US_Navy_Training_Course_-_Introduction_to_Statistics,_Number_Systems,_and_Boolean_Algebra.pdf
Try to place the library in a higher directory, like directly in C:\, C:\Users\anon, or something like that

Downloading this shit now (currently at 58.5%). Currently the only problem I'm having with the torrent is that the pieces being downloaded are in tiny fragments which is slowing it down immensely. Not sure if it's the magnet itself or just the way it was organized, but that's been the only actual problem.
